Contrary to popular demand, none of the members of Indubious will be trying out for American Idol next year. We apologize for this inconvenience.
Bound to slay down all shape-shifting reptilians and government officials, Indubious brings heat to the evils of our atmosphere with pulsating riddims, fierce sing-jay lyrics, and bone-crushing instrumentals. This genre-bending power trio comes pumping a positive message and wielding impressive instrumental skill. Upliftment is eminent.
Indubious' new album "Fresh Leaves" was once described so eloquently by the late, great Hemelshteinberg as "A cacophony of emotions unfelt by man, unless of course you are in the moment actually feeling them. Then they are very real. An electro reggae swirl of funk soft-serve with dancehall sprinkles." We believe although there is truth in this statement, you must form your own opinions.

6-20-07 "Funk The West Coast" Tour
SAN FRANCISCO, CA – Two of the west-coast’s most innovative trios are teaming up this summer to bring unique their music all along the Pacific. The San Francisco based Reggae-Funk-Acid Jazz group Indubious, and Portland based Funk-Jam-Jazz artist Teddy Presberg and his Red Note Revivalists, will kick off their “Funk The West Coast Tour” this August and tear through the West Coast in what promises to be one of the most funkiest combinations of bands to ever share the road.
Indubious is genre-bending power trio, pumping a positive message and wielding impressive instrumental skill. Their new approach to reggae is already attracting fans in the San Francisco area and finds them playing to sold out venues across the bay. Started by the Burton brothers (Spencer and Evan) on bass, keyboards and vocals, they soon added drummer Bobby Templin, who’s previous band, Every Seven, won indie rock radio station, Live 105’s “Best of the Bands” contest in 2001. Without a guitarist in tow, Indubious began performing soon afterwards. With impressive skills on their instruments combined with incredible vocal lines and harmonies, the trio has a huge sound that drives crowds to dance and participate in their shows. Indubious's first full length album, will be released early fall 2007.
Teddy Presberg is an improv-funk guitarist/composer performing with his trio The Red Note Revivalists. Ropeadope records recently picked up his debut album “Blueprint of Soul’ and has scheduled a re-release for this Fall. Teddy roots his music in improvisation, inspired by the moment and the audience. Often compared to the funky, soulful jazz musicians such as Grant Green and Eddie Harris, you also hear artists such as The White Stripes and Beck influence his sound.
The three-week “Funk The West Coast Tour:” kicks off in Vancouver BC August 10th and wraps up in San Diego, California August 31st. “There will be a lot of room for collaborating and jamming on the stage,” says Presberg. “We are really excited to be splitting the bill with Indubious because like us, they share a common love for making positive music and letting it all hang loose.”
The “Funk the West Coast Tour” is a climate friendly tour as both bands will offset the greenhouse gas emissions associated with travel.
